OFFICES BOOK for Sundays and the main holidays of the year. Roman Rite. Finished printing for Mr. M. Marius Michel on October XXIV, 1885.
Petit in-8, 3 ff.n.ch., 462 pp., 1 f.n.ch. (Marked and finished printing): black morocco, large cold plate with ironwork motifs arranged around an oval medallion left in reserve in the centre, large gilded iron in the middle of each edge, decorated spine, gilded fleuron repeated in the boxes, interior lace, brocaded silk lining and endpapers, gilded edges on marbling (Marius Michel).
Charming missal decorated with 4 figures engraved with burin by Levasseur after Paul Dubois, J. Thomas, Delaplanche and Falguière, and with ornaments (composition on the title and ornamental border for each page, of different models, some on a black background) drawn by Marius Michel.
Text printed by Plon, Nourrit et Cie. The last page, which contains the finished print, is decorated on the front with the printed ex-libris by Henri Marius Michel.
Copy on Marais wove paper. (Vicar, V, col. 530-531.)
