(including the frontispiece) and 560 pp. (the last one unencumbered): red morocco, dishes covered with a decoration of various gilt motifs with small irons arranged around a cottage-roof style frame, filigree floral button at the corners, small repeated Maltese cross, decorated spine, inner wheel, gilt edges (English binding of the second half of the 17th century).
Missal printed in red and black, illustrated with a title-frontispiece and 17 pretty engraved intaglio vignettes.
Rich 17th century English binding decorated with small irons in the cottage style.
Its decoration is arranged around a central frame of the "cottage-roof" style. Note the presence on the plates, in the medallion in the middle and repeated at the head and foot, of a small iron with a Maltese cross.
Old handwritten mention at the head of the dedication: the first words have been cut out, only this inscription remains: dona an england.
