"Fishnet Chair" is a further development of Wanders's "Knotted Chair" from 1996, Less than ten specimens of it were produced. It is part of the Personal Editions Collection. The concept for the "Knotted Chairs" came from a Droog project entitled Dry Tech. Wanders combined industrial techniques and materials with handcraft. Although it was originally designed for industrial production, the company decided to stick to manual knotting because of the small number of
pieces.
