A mid 19th century gold split pearl and vari-cut emerald ring.Ring size N. 3.1gms. Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.Evidence of alteration, possible replacement band.Glazed panel with woven hair in good condition.Emeralds are well matched, medium green hues, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. Emeralds are in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
