Born near Carthage in 1957, Daniel Zanca lives and works in Martigues. As a visual artist and designer, his profoundly Mediterranean work revisits the meaning of the past in order to face an uncertain future. His protean and varied themes and his relationship with the sea lead to a fascinating approach around the great myths, journeys and characters whose destiny was spectacular. Oceanic and spatial adventures give him, from the known world, material to create.
Group and personal exhibitions in France and throughout Europe. His sculptures and paintings are part of public and private collections. His collaborative projects with archaeologists and high-tech companies make great demands on his inventiveness.
