Alix Paj is a French artist who lives and works in the south of France.
Her quest is that of the figure, that of the portrait.
At what point do we go through the mystery of the other?
At which lights in her ward can we recognize the mysteries of her self?
An alchemy of signs is formed. Traits, traces, repentances, unexpected materials combine.
The spectrum of light unfolds its colours. In this theatricalization, the characters appear, live. Eyes meet and question each other, they will never take their eyes off each other.
The artist exhibits in Paris and in the region. She is currently represented by the Caroline Serero Gallery in Marseille.
