17th century furniture key. The thick and flat ring is pierced with bird heads and chimeras leaning against it. The heads of chimeras joined together by a lace. The center of the ring is engraved with two dolphins whose tails meet. The ring rests on a large hump of flattened mud. Drilled triangular stem. Bit with protruding snout and rakes, pierced with cruciform fillings (wear). Iron pierced, chiselled, engraved. French work from the beginning of the 17th century. Dimension: 12 cm
