[Revolution - Armée du Nord] Charles François du Perrier du Mouriez dit DUMOURIEZ (1739-1823), General Lot of 8 pieces : Proclamation of General-in-Chief Dumouriez, at Tournay Headquarters, on 30 March 1793, year 2 of the Republic", printed placard, 53 x 40 cm, ordering "to all Officers & Soldiers, of the two Armies of the North & the Ardennes, who are in the Cities of Douay, Valenciennes, Dunkirk & others, without their Flags or without being in Hospital, (...)"....) to leave these Cities within 24 hours, to join their flags, if they are brave Citizens, lost by circumstances; or to withdraw into the interior of France, if they are cowards; the Armies being decided to admit only brave Soldiers... "L.S., Valenciennes, August 25, 1792, General DUMOURIEZ + apostille signed by the Irish Field Marshal James O'MORAN, 1 page in-fol. giving the order to requisition all the contents of the library (books, maps, manuscripts) belonging to Anne Emmanuel de CROY, Prince of Solre and Holy Empire, emigrant, and remaining in his castle at Condé sur l'Escaut. - Address to the Belgian Army", cupboard printed by Deboubers in Lille, 53 x 41 cm: "(...)
