This Norton 750 Atlas was registered on March 2nd, 1967. It then knew an owner in Gironde in 1970, registered 1024 CQ 33, changed hands, still in the same department, in 1974. It was acquired by Mister Minni in 1978, registering it in the Bas-Rhin. The latter participated with this motorcycle in the Vieilles Gloires du Moto-Club Lorrain, on June 21st, 1987, achieving a time of 19.383 seconds per kilometer started, recording a speed of 185.73 kilometers per hour. Since then, the bike has undergone a well made tuning. The crankshaft is a lightened version done in period by Brabham, with Racing R&R connecting rods, high compression pistons, a 4S camshaft adjusted by Vernier. The cylinder head was prepared by Dunstall, the screws are in titanium and the engine plates in ergal. The transmission is made by toothed belt with clutch bell in ergal and four-speed gearbox with first long. As for the cycle part, it is composed of Seeley fork, Tomaselli Matador bracelets and levers, Falcon rear shock absorbers, a Rossignol magnesium front brake on Akront rim, a Yamaha TR3 rear drum brake, Domiracer swingarm for larger tire. The saddle / aluminum tank assembly is custom made. Remained in the same hands from 1978 to 2018, this motorcycle is a real racing machine ideal for participating in the Vintage Revival of Montlhéry next June!
