Eugène BOUDIN (1824-1898) "The washerwomen in Trouville" (Six washerwomen on the river Touques in Trouville.) Oil on canvas, signed on the lower right Visible dimensions : H.: 31 L.: 39 cm (very small restorations and retouchings on the bank, in the water and in the clouds, which do not affect the work's quality) NB. : Mr. Manuel Schmit, specialist of Boudin and author of the catalogue raisonné, passed in December 2019, we could not show him the painting to get his opinion. Bears a label on a cardboard on the back, with the mention: "H. V. Allison and Co. Inc, 32 East street, NY, original painting by Eugène Boudin, Les Laveuses de Trouville, painted about 1865, formerly in the collection of Richard Canfield."
