Baroque lidded cup. Silesia, c. 1720. H. 22 cm. Silver, chased, engraved and partly gilded. Stand and lid rim with tongue decoration under pearl band and three shell motifs each. The wall, engraved with rich floral decoration, picks up the theme of tongues and shells. Screwed lid knob added. Minor dent, rest. On the ground MZ: "STM". Approx. 340g.
