Table service, Venice, Belgium, 1st half of the 20th century. Large linen tablecloth with a fine small days and wide Venetian needlepoint lace border decorated with large foliage scrolls, bouquets of flowers and medallions with cherubs. Twelve napkins with the same lace border, small days and stylized pattern embroidered with feather at one of the corners. Unbleached cotton. Dim. tablecloth 3,30 m x 1,70 m (as new, some storage stains) We enclose another towel with a slightly different lace pattern. Provenance: Bottom of the Joseph Lauwereys factory in Aalst.
