Two letters signed and addressed in 1956 by Léger's widow to Frank Elgar. In one of them, in the margin of a circular letter, she suggested that he join the Association of Friends of the Fernand Léger Museum and in the other she thanked her for her article on the painter's work in the magazine Carrefour: "your article had the power, and it gave me great pleasure, to make our great Fernand come back to life".
