Portico clock in gilded bronze and brass with a toothed architrave and quadrangular quadrangular moulded base decorated with flowers and foliage. The columns, of Trajan type, decorated with friezes of sphinxes, lyres and shells. White enamelled dial, signed ROSSEL in Rouen, black painted hour-markers, Roman numerals for the hours, railroad for the minutes. Key-wound movement. Late Empire-Restoration period, circa 1815-1820. 45 x 22.5 x 14 cm. Gilding wear, splinters at a key entry of the dial, scratches of use.
