This folding box has a double use as a distraction with a chess board covering its outside and a tric-trac game in its interior. It is richly decorated with inlaid friezes of foliage scrolls. The interior has three boxes for the storage of rooms with the same decor. A set of ebony and boxwood game pieces is included.
