This painting is decorated in its center with an animated landscape of a few walkers and a dog. The composition is cleverly organized around two triangles, one of which is inverted: the first is composed by the three main trees, the second by the shape of the path. A colourist's artwork, a note of red in the peasant's skirt brings an interesting contrast to the green shades of the forest.
