Ebony pinnate octant. Alidade and brass vernier. Blade engraved with a point on ivory (Zero to the right of the blade). Brass pinnae eyelet. Three filters and a mirror. Embedded ivory plate forming a tablet for the transfer of the measure. Mid-19th century. Radius 33 cm. The left ebony branch of the frame is split in its upper part. Sold as is.
