Sailing model with a frank schooner rigging. The hull, bordered on ribs, is painted black for the live works and white for the dead works. The bow is on the hook. The hull is weighted down with lead. The bridge is made of varnished wood. The fittings are made of brass with a tiller. The Espars are made of varnished pine. The masts are in two parts. Four headsails including staysail and jib boomed. Two removable fleshes, as well as a jib and a large jib, so that the canvas can be easily reduced. Circa 1920. Presented on a contemporary cradle. Length Ht 2.90 m, height Ht 2.35 m, width at the main beam: 0.465 m. Note: This sailing model, as the dimensions show, is very large and yet very elegant. Beware the weight of a model, as for any other object, is only the cube of its dimension. This model, even if it has not been weighed, weighs, subject to reservations, at least thirty kilos. It is therefore not necessary to imagine putting it on a shelf fixed itself on a plasterboard partition.
