Camphor wood chest. Side carrying handles and recessed hinged handle on the brass lid. Reinforcements for corners, wedges, lock entry and blank brass nameplate. England Late 19th century. Dimensions: 51.5 x 105.5 cm x 53.5 cm. Very beautiful honey-coloured patina of the panels characterized by the beauty of their veining. Note: This chest that was used as a coffee table is sold with a glass sheet to protect its top.
