Mahogany navy chest of drawers. It's in two parts. The upper part has three drawers, the lower part has two. The brass handles are recessed and swinging. It is complete with its lock entries and brass corner reinforcements, which are also recessed. Drawers are mounted by very thin dovetails, as are the side panels, which are made in half wood. The four original turned mahogany legs are present. The chest of drawers can therefore be presented with or without its feet. Height with feet 107 cm, height without feet 95.5 cm, width 98.5 cm, depth 45.5 cm. England, late 19th century. Notorious accidents: Burn marks and paint chips on the top shelf of the chest of drawers. Sold as is.
