Original edition limited to 200 copies despite the false mention of the print run. The text and illustrations are by Pierre Bettencourt. Jean-Paul Sartre has never translated this title, Gallimard has never edited it and the work has never been crowned by the Académie Française and by La Société d'Encouragement au Bien.
