Cameo on black veined RED STONE of rectangular shape representing the PORTRAIT of SAMUEL HAHNEMANN (1755-1843). Signed "F. Woltreck". Height 3.7, Width 3 cm. Student of David d'Angers (1788-1856), Franz Woltreck (1800-1847) painted the portrait of Dr Samuel Hahnemann in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of his birth. If the original copy is lost, two are still kept. One is now in the Ingolstadt Medical Museum, the other in the Robert Bosch Institute.
