Very beautiful example of a pendant called Balougal ensuring the protection of the crops of the Moba, an ethnic group located in the North of Togo. A ring is fixed in the upper part from which the sun's rays are dispersed. Eight branches ensure the attachment of an inner circle in the centre of which is a cross. This object is uncommon and carries a strong symbolism. When not worn, the pendant is placed on an altar. Ethnic Moba, Northern Togo. Diameter: 8.5 cm Gross weight: 51.9 g.
