Tubular silver pendant called hirz opening by slide decorated with filigree and zigzag geometric filigree motifs separated by beaded bands. Topped with three rings letting pass a chain with a diamond clasp and highlighted with twelve small bells. The hirz pendant was worn either as a pendant or on the belt and was used to hide amulets or to store one's change. Yemen, late 19th-early 20th century. Dimensions: 13.5 x 7.8 cm. Diameter: 3.8 cm Gross weight: 119.3 g.
