Crown with diadem in relief evoking the owl god, totem animal of warriors and shamans. It is embellished with a multitude of removable circular pendants designed to reflect the sunlight during the great ceremonies that punctuate the magical-religious life of the clan. This work was probably worn in pre-Columbian times by a powerful shamanic priest. Gold cut, drilled, stapled and soldered. Important traces of localized oxidation of time and limestone concretions in places. Mochica, Peru, 100 to 500 A.D. 10 x 20 cm
