This work was probably worn in pre-Columbian times by a powerful shamanic priest. Gold cut, drilled, stapled and soldered. Important traces of localized oxidation of time and limestone concretions in places. Mochica, Peru, 100 to 500 A.D. 10 x 20 cm Provenance: Gaïa, Paris, sale of June 13, 2007, lot n°287 of the catalogue.
