Nasal ornament worn by a lord during the ceremonies that punctuate the magical-religious life of the clan. He presents the double-headed jaguar serpent god, the undulating body and the open mouth showing his fangs symbolically as a sign of power. Gold cut, hammered, decorated with circular pendants held by clasps, and inlaid with turquoise and shells of the period, probably re-fixed later.
