Important and rare child-shaped pillow lying on Dingyao porcelain, China North Song Dynasty
(960-1127).
With Certificate of Analysis by Thermoluminescence of the U.A.M.
Decoration carved and sculpted under a transparent ivory white glaze.
A similar pillow is found in the Beijing Museum Palace and is reproduced in The Palace
Museum. Beijing-Treasures of the Forbidden City by Wang-Go Weng / Yang Boda, pag. 93
and also in Chinese Ceramics, From the Paleolithic Period Trough the Qing Dynasty by Li
Zhiyang, Virginia I. Bower and He Li, Pags. 272 and back cover. Another smaller similar pillow is
