Crystal. Brand: "Cristal Saint Louis France" engraved with acid. Excellent state of preservation The crystals of this service are blown by mouth, carved and engraved by hand in one of the most famous and ancient manufactures in the world. It is in fact in 1586 that the Münzthal glassworks was born, the oldest in France and, two centuries later (1767) the King of France Louis XV gave it the prestigious name of "Verrerie Royale de Saint-Louis". Fifteen years later he began to produce crystal and in 1829 he devoted himself exclusively to this production, taking the name of "Cristallerie Royale de Saint Louis": the first European crystal factory. The service counts a total of 87 pieces and is composed as follows: 6 glasses for water (h. cm 17.8); 6 glasses for red wine (h. cm 16.2); 6 glasses for white wine (h. cm 16.2). 14.2 cm); 12 flutes for champagne (h. 18.8 cm); 6 glasses for rosolio (h. 12.6 cm); 12 high tumblers (h. 13 cm); 12 low tumblers (h. 8.7 cm); 12 fruit salad cups (h. 4.8 cm); diam. 10.7 cm); 12 saucers (h. 3.5 cm; diameter 14.2 cm); 2 champagne buckets (h. 21.6 cm; diameter 22.5 cm and h. 20.6 cm; diameter 22.2 cm); 1 ice bucket (h. 15 cm; diameter 16 cm)
