collection Bibliography: Sophia Vari, Le armoniche evoluzioni della forma, ed Skira, reproduced in the catalogue? Composition is exactly like music: one note provokes another and so on... this rhythm must be completed by something that I would qualify as heroic: HARMONY, that is to say something that goes beyond the mind, something at the limit of what is possible, a balance. Beauty is the key to my work: for me art must not shock or disturb, life is quite shocking enough to add to it. For me, a work must offer a breath for the viewer, invite him to silence and perhaps to peace or at least to appeasement.
