Medal Croix du combattant (in Bronze) - Cross pattée with four branches, on its face we can see the Marianne helmeted and topped with an oak crown, surrounded by the inscription "République Française". - On its reverse side, in its centre is a sword surmounted by rays, bordered by the quotation "Cross of the fighter". - History: - The veteran's crosses were all in Bronze at the time. These crosses are awarded exclusively by the Ministry of Defence.
