It follows the model of San Antonio established by the Madrid sculptor Luis Salvador Carmona (1708-1767). In this carving we can see the saint on a cloud of cherubs and appears dressed in his usual Franciscan tunic in brown and like in the works of Carmona cradles the Child in his hands holding a lily.
