Although the figure has no clear iconographic attributes due to the loss of them, it is possible to relate this carving to St. Blaise, doctor and bishop of Sebaste (Armenia) executed in the early fourth century and known for his gift of miraculous healing, which applied to people and animals. The figure stands, looking at the front, with a slight smile on his face. Probably with one hand he would be blessing while with the other he would hold the bishop's staff. It is presented dressed in dawn and chasuble with polychrome gilded remains imitating gilded embroidery and on the head holds the bishop's mitre. The expression of the saint and the expressiveness of the same place the carving within the Gothic, already concerned to show a certain movement and some closeness in the figures. The folds are also less geometric than in Romanesque, looking for some anatomy but still not showing it or letting it glimpse. The use of gold in decoration is also common in the Castilian school of the time. 118 x 31 x 33,5 cmCut and polychrome wood
