Ancient collection of a French
diplomat Our statuette represents a dignitary walking on a quadrangular base, arms raised along the body. He wears a short wig engraved in checkerboard, the eyes inlaid in alabaster are lined with bronze eyelids. He is dressed in a short chendjit loincloth and has a slender body and a very expressive look. There are remains of original stucco and polychrome.
