Signed autograph visa as general commanding the 1st Division of the Armée du Nord (s.l., 1795, 2 lines), on an autographed document signed by the Commissioner of the Carpenter Wars, in charge of the police of the right brigade of this division (1 p. in-folio, handwritten letterhead of the division, vestige of a red wax stamp, document doubled with paper on the back), with autograph visas signed by General JeanBaptiste Eblé (s.l, 1795, 2 lines 1/2), General Alexandre-François-Joseph de Boubers-Mazingan (s.l., 2 lines) and by two artillery crew inspectors, named Ségalas (Groningen, 20 floréal year III-9 May 1795, 5 lines), and La Boulais, (s.l., 1795, 3 lines). The visas certify the veracity of this certificate of good conduct:"... EtienneJean Pascal, head of the division of artillery transport, behaved with honour and distinction,... he has in all circumstances given evidence of the purest republicanism by performing with zeal, activity and great precision the duties prescribed by his employee... »
