Mica windows, China, late 17th-early 18th century Rare fan folded, composed of a sheet of floral wallpaper, and opened at regular intervals by small windows decorated with thin mica leaves whose transparency gives the illusion of glass. Ivory frame* painted with flowers and birds. The strands are cut at the head in the shape of a tulip. 27.3 cm / H.f. 17 cm. See illustration on the back cover.
