Lieutenant-General and Governor of ANJOU in 1585. In 1598, Henri IV went to Angers to prepare the Edict of NANTES. He was welcomed by the Governor of Anjou.
Scroll (21 x 29.5 cm) signed on October 23, 1586, in its Name and titles. "Anthoine de SILLY damoiseau de Commercy, Sovereign Lord of Euville, Baron de Montmirail and Rosnay, Captain of 50 Men in Arms of the King's Ordinances, Knight of His Order & Lieutenant General for His Majesty in the Duchy and Country of ANJOU." He receives 600 ECU from the Treasurer Germain LE CHARRON for his wages as Lieutenant-General to the Government of ANJOU, at a rate of 100 ECU per month.
