Gold pendant in the shape of a cicada. With a triangular outline, it has an applied decoration of twisted yarns, filigrees and granules, the two largest forming the insect's eyes. Ring on the back.

Cicada-shaped jewellery has been known from the Hellenistic period to the last third of the 5th century. It is not uncommon to find cicada-shaped fibulas of oriental origin in princely tombs from the Hunnian period.
