Anonymous at the end of the 18th century Satire in lessons in fertile novelties / Can only season pleasant and useful. (Cartoon against art fairs). Etching. 340 x 256. Good proof on vellum, on which an anonymous hand inked annotations in the blank sheets: "petition des artistent[sic] exposant au salon", "rapport sur les points de concours annuels", "L'ignorance ne nous perçoit pas", "petition des artistent[sic] pour le concours de Bordeaux". Light freckles, light spots and traces of folds, some broken. Good margins.
