Le Jour et la Nuit, based on a model created by Jacques Caffieri. Important Louis XV wall lamp cartel animated, in its upper part, by the chariot of love inscribed in a radiant sun. At the bottom, a Love coming to cover a young woman. Dial enamelled with Berthoud's signature in Paris. Bronze chased and gilded with mercury. 19th century Parisian work.
