Saint Bishop (Augustine?) in polychrome and gilded carved resinous wood. The saint stands up straight. With his right hand, he makes a sign of blessing, he holds his pilgrim's staff in his left hand. Head topped with a mitre decorated with cabochons. Beautiful elongated face with a long straight nose, well defined eyebrow arches and wavy hair and beard. It is covered with a chasuble with a pleated chasuble well marked in V. She covers a long coat that falls on her foals.
France, 14th century Avignon school (traces of woodborers, hollowed out backs, lack of polychromy, and restorations, posterior right hand.)
