CHINESE SILVER EXPORT BASKET BY KWONG MAN SHING
Active Hong Kong or Canton / Guangzhou, End of the Qing Dynasty, About 1900
Made of silver, circular and with a flowering lip, it rests on an annular heel. Decorated on its exterior with little boys playing in the garden, wise men playing weiqi and a Taoist sage perched on his mule. Goldsmith's stamp below: KMS (slight deformations).
