CIRCULAR PORCELAIN TABATIERE BOTTLE
China, Qing Dynasty, Daoguang Period
Circular, like a full moon, and flattened, with a short cylindrical neck. It is moulded with two medallions, one centred on each side, around which radiating lines are incised. It is decorated in iron red with Zhong Kui moving in a sedan chair on the obverse and two thuriferous servants on the reverse. Coral cap and spatula.
H (excluding cap): 5.8 cm - D: 5 cm - Thickness: 0.7 cm
