Excavation sword, straight cross with round cross-section finished, on each side, by a button in the shape of a half-sphere, conical knob with eight sides, scalloped on top; wide blade with diamond section, with two cutting edges, slightly shortened, width at the heel 42 mm, length 85 cm; total length 103.5 cm.
15th century, around 1400/1450, probably from the Hundred Years' War, Battle of Castillon? (1453). Good condition.
