Beautiful pair of guard pistols of the King's body, first model, guns with sides then round, blued, gilded with breeches and stamped: "A C" (Inspector Alphand), they are marked in gold letters: "Guards of the King's body", one with very little visible marking; locks of type year XIII, stamped: "B" under crown (first controller Daniel Bouyssavy) and signed: "Maubeuge Manuf Rle", golden basins, all guilloché screws; brass fittings, bridges finished with a cut and engraved fleur-de-lis, oval caps with the coat of arms of France in high relief; walnut sticks, stamped: "B" crowned in two places; iron rods, stamped: "D" crowned.
First Restoration Period, 1814/1815. Very good condition.
