Pop Art - Andy Warhol The Velvet Underground & Nico. Produced by Andy Warhol. Schallplatte. Original US LP Verve Records (V/V6-5008) Stereo-Version. 1967. Gatefold-Pp.-Album (etwas gebräunt u. berieben, selbstklebende Bananenapplikation intakt). Enthält Zeichnungen zu Fahrgeschäften (Schiffli-Bahn, Alaska-Bahn, Stern-Skooter, zum Mittel-Teil an der Cortina-Bahn der Familie Corbière, Schausteller), Bob-Bahn / Eiskunstlauf (Atelier "Sonnehus" Bäretswil). Tls. sign., mit Firmen- bzw. Copyrightstempel u. Datum versehen. Etwas gebräunt u. tls. leicht stockfleckig. First pressing of 1967 debut album of the American rock band "The Velvet Underground". Cover Design by Andy Warhol. Recorded 1966 and exclusively produced by Warhol during his "Exploding Plastic Inevitable Multimedia Event Tour" (1966-1976), the album caused a sensation with its musical exploration of taboo topics (drug abuse, prostitution, masochism, etc.) - a commercial failure at the time, today no. 13 on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the 500 biggest albums of all time. Originally, this first pressing did not contain the title "Sunday Morning", although it appears in the track list. A later Deadwax imprint indicates the later addition of the title (V6-5008 SIDE1 MG5 558 REV). Very rare.
