magazines The New Yorker. 6 issues. 1969 - 2015. 27.5 x 21 cm each. 4 issues each with subscription sticker at the bottom left. Each in clear cover with cardboard underlay. - Partly age-related, slightly bearing and creased. One specimen somewhat stained. All in all in good condition. Vineyard 18, 72 - Catalogue Moritzburg 41. - Wvz. Lissitzky-Küppers, No. 70 - One of a total of seven Frank Loyd Wright issues, the most important Dutch art and architecture magazine alongside "de Stijl", with probably the most sought-after issue on Frank Loyd Wright, whose cover was designed by El Lissitzky. The text by H.P. Berlage. Typography by H. Theodorus Wijdeveld. One of the most important numbers of the small group of Amsterdam avant-garde architects of the group "Architectura et Amicitia", which also actively involved artists and designers in their work. Characteristic is the idiosyncratic square large format and the elaborate avant-garde typography together with the book-artistic design of the booklets in lithography and hand printing. - Inside mostly very clean, one side with minimal tearing at the outer edge. - Still a good specimen overall.
