India Collection of approx. 500 OP photographs and photo postcards from the estate of the Swiss Consul General Caspar Rutz and his family in Bombay. 5 albums. 1926-1943 Vintage, silver gelatine prints, from ca. 6 x 9 cm to 22 x 29 cm. Qu.-Gr.-8°. Put and loosely in Pp. and Lwd. with cord binding (rubbed, bumped and scraped as well as with small edgeläsuren). The photographs mainly show topography and excursions in Kashmir, Srinagar, Himalaya-Trekking as well as a ship trip from Switzerland via Venice through the Suez Canal to India, Karachi 1926 and private family photos and diplomatic occasions. Including a letter from Rutz. - Tls. with hs. Captions. - Occasionally slightly faded and slightly silvered. - Overall very good and extensive collection. India.
