Collection of 48 OPhotographs and photo postcards of the Eastern Front in the 1st World War. Vintage, silver gelatine, mainly 9 x 14 cm. Qu.-8°. Mounted in pp. with cord weave (sth. rubbed, small marginal blemishes, corners bumped).
Contains photographs of the Stolowitschi soldiers home, concrete train stand for field cannon 96, side observer stand for artillery, gun stand interior and exterior view, gun stand with heavy field howitzer, officer's shelters, observer high stand, battery telephone centre, command post David and Friedrich, etc. - photographs with hs. Captions. - Tls. yellowed and faded sth., occasionally slightly silvered. - Good overall.
