World War I Collection of 199 OP-photographs and OP-photopostcards of a company, stationed in France. 1914-18. 2 albums. Vintage, silver gelatine prints, from approx. 5.5 x 5.5 cm to 10 x 15 cm. Gr.-4°. Mounted in Pp. with cord binding and DP embossing (slightly rubbed, creased and with marginal tears, back with tears at the joints). The two photo albums with photos of the stations in Jeandelize, Puxe, graves, telephone double train 205, airship department 10, aerial photos of Jeandelize, stable tents at the station, signal troop with heliographs, telephone station St. Hilaire and Marcheville, Marcheville blasting funnel, Buzy, automobiles, blood collection from horses, mortars, battlefields with dead bodies, Fresnes, gun emplacements in the Hennemount forest, trenches, French lodgings in the Broquis forest, visit of the Crown Prince, Bessingen Castle, Bensdorf, etc. - individual sheets solved.
