World War I Collection of 106 OP-photographs and OP-photopostcards of the Dolomite Front in the 1st World War. 1916th vintage, silver gelatine prints, mostly ca. 9 x 14 cm. 4°. Mounted in HLwd. (rubbed, bumped and scraped, small flaws in the cover). The photo album with photos of the Dolomite front and Flanders in World War I with soldiers, graves, corpses, plane crash, war machines and ammunition. - Included: 12 OP-photographs of the steamship Bremen and hunting trips, 5 postcards Helgoland, among others aerial photos of the fortifications as well as 26 postcards from the mountain holiday in Austria. - Photographs somewhat yellowed and faded, sporadically stained, with small marginal blotches and slightly creased. - Overall good album, very rare.
